Cornerstone Ceremony for Eureka Temple (1950)

Eureka-North Shore Lodge has been a pillar of tradition and brotherhood since 1931. Located in Dania Beach—the oldest city in Broward County—our Lodge has served the community for nearly a century, upholding the timeless values of Freemasonry.

Formed from the union of Eureka Lodge (1931) and North Shore Lodge (1948), we continue their proud legacy today.

Our meetings are held in the historic Eureka-North Shore Masonic Center, formerly Eureka Temple, a landmark built in 1952 that has witnessed generations of history.

Home to a diverse brotherhood of men from around the world, Eureka-North Shore welcomes visiting Masons and invited guests to experience our traditions and engage in meaningful fellowship.

Eureka-North Shore Members Hail From All Corners of the World…

Nations Represented at Eureka-North Shore Lodge:

Domenico Fetti’s 1620 oil painting of Archimedes, depicting the ancient Greek mathematician deep in thought, symbolizing intellectual discovery and the legendary ‘Eureka’ moment.

The word “Eureka”, famously exclaimed by the ancient Greek mathematician Archimedes, means “I have found it.” More than just a cry of discovery, it symbolizes intellectual enlightenment, the pursuit of knowledge, and the joy of uncovering hidden truths—principles that define both Freemasonry and our commitment to Masonic education.

Eureka-North Shore members embrace this spirit, constantly seeking deeper understanding, wisdom, and growth through education.

Br. Theodore Roosevelt

“Freemasonry teaches not merely temperance, fortitude, prudence, justice, brotherly love, relief, and truth, but liberty, equality, and fraternity, and it denounces ignorance, superstition, bigotry, lust tyranny, and despotism.”
